Afulent (pronounced as "ah-phoo-lent") means - Elephant
Minifier (pronounced as "mee-knee-phi-yhur") means - Humidifier
We had recently replaced our cool mist humidifier. The old one was very loud and it sounds like you are inside a B-52 airplane. Seriously, I could not sleep well through the night..IT WAS THAT LOUD! So my wife (courtesy of Cel OfTheKings) found a nice "Ultra-Mist" Cool Humidifier by Crane, sold at a local BBB, with a 20% coupon, it was a deal! We scoured the internet for reviews, and it's mostly positive, so we gave it a try. It has good warranty info...and the best part is, it comes in different design/characters...Elephant, SpongeBob, Duck, Frog...etc. It was the cutest thing that we have ever seen on a humidifier. No more boxy or rounded boring designs. Annie wanted the yellow duck, but she’s no match to a toddler...he wanted the Elephant...so we ended up getting the Elephant.
So me and the boys were very excited to open the "Minifier", (while my wife was glued to the tv watching midterm elections)...My oldest son kept repeating "Thank you, thank you for my minifier...I'm so happy with my minifier"...lol. Hence the word "Minifier". He actually asked for it long time ago.
Just to make sure it was clean, I washed the container and the base area. Turned on the switch and Voila! Ultra Mist was coming out. My kids were so happy that some misty thing was coming out of an elephant’s nose! hahaha. Warning though...the kids will not be able to contain themselves, and they will keep touching this thing and the mist.
Overall, this thing is great, simple, fun looking, very efficient on water usage, turns on instantly, and best of all...it’s quiet! Only thing is that it doesn’t have a sensor to check for how humid the room is. But it’s not a big deal; you can set the mist output just enough to make the room comfortably humid. So there you go...two thumbs up for the "Afulent Minifier".
thanks to Cel and Gabs for the recommendation on this minifier :)
